What is Visceral mobilisation ?

Visceral mobilisation is a type of manual therapy technique used to assist in the movement and release of fascial restrictions in the abdomen and pelvis to encourage normal movement and function of the internal organs.

Strains in the connective tissue of the viscera can result from surgical scars, adhesions, illness, posture or injury.

Tension patterns can then form through the fascia network deep within the body, creating a cascade of effects for which the body will have to compensate.
